The Stihl TS 440 Demolition Saw is a specific pipe cutting saw with a brake that disengages drive to the blade to prevent kickback or blade grab.

​

Equipped with technology capable of stopping the rotation of the cutting wheel in fractions of a second if kickback occurs.

Stihl QuickStop Wheel Brake
This allows the saw to be safely operated in the open guard position where the motion sensors will sense any kickback from the saw and instantly apply the break stopping the blade almost instantly. This makes it very safe to operate with the exposed blade showing and allows you to make cuts you wouldn't make with any other demo saw on the market.

Two-stage belt drive

Thanks to a two-stage belt drive, the TS 440 is characterized by a high torque on the cutting wheel. It allows the users to apply higher feed force while reducing the chance of bogging the engine.

STIHL Anti-vibration system

Buffer and spring elements reduce the transmission of engine vibrations to the operator's arms and hands. This makes free-hand cutting much less strenuous.

Wheel Guard

Extended wheel guard adjustability range increases utility of machine for certain cutting circumstance
